Baldwin Street - the worlds steepest street, and Moeraki Boulders

Currently, I’m based in Dunedin, which is renowned for having the worlds steepest street. As you could imagine, you can take some pretty cool photos here!

Admittedly there is controversy surrounding this claim. Streets in Wales, England, Italy an Canada are known to be steeper but none are certified by the Guinness book of world records.

About an hours drive North from dunedin is The Moeraki Bouldersz these boulders have taken 5 million years to form, and are quite the spectacle. The beach they lie on is absolutely beautiful too. Unfortunately there were loss of tourists present but it was still cool to see!

Right next to the Moeraki boulders (a 10 min drive) is Fleur’s Place - magnificent Sea food restaurant. They locally catch their fish, and I must say it’s an incredible place - if you ever go to Moeraki boulders I’d thoroughly recommend it.

Around the back of the restaurant we found some seals and got really close up - I have some better photos on my SLR but in the mean time these will have to do!

Hi, thanks for pointing that out. I just added it in. Honest cash has some problems uploading photos sometimes.
