Artists Can Now Exhibit On Honest Cash

2019-03-13T06:12:16.000Z Honest Cash

From March, artists have the opportunity to showcase their artwork on the homepage of Honest Cash.

We’re a creative platform and want users to be able to showcase their work and be paid for it.

Recently, we decided to take this idea to the next level. Artists can now ’rent’ our homepage space for one month and we’ll include a ‘buy now’ button to send visitors straight to the artist’s site to buy their artwork and products directly.

First to try the service was Manilla based, Bloom Founder Luis Bueneventura. His ‘CryptoPop’ art collection has gained traction in recent years, being featured in multiple online publications and shared throughout social media.

His artwork ‘Supper at the Bitcoin Moonbase’ is one of his most popular pieces, and he kindly offered to let us use this artwork on our site for the month.

We want to support artists around the world, not just crypto-artists, and it’s a concept we haven’t seen used anywhere else. The Honest team like to be different.

Are you an artist and do you want to feature on our homepage next month? Drop us a line info@honest.cash.

Hi, that's very nice and helpful…! But, I'd like if you fixed the small bugs when it comes to posting content. Sorry, I posted a lot yesterday and couln't help but notice that, sometimes, the text would go rogue after publishing. I've got to edit my posts at least once to fix these "*" that weren't here before, and I think it'd be good if these gould get fixed.

It'd also be very helpful to be able to delete posts and having a preview of the post itself (in case they have images among its content), to help catch the readers' eye.

Is there going to be a background music showcase option for musicians?

Wow, that's a very unique idea of both advertising and earning. Much better than big ads covering the whole platform I guess.

You can try the youtube embed feature on Markdown Editor Beta, go to write section and click the cogs in the header to switch to the markdown editor then look for the eye icon in the editor then paste your youtube url (full)

Well I'll be darned.

The homepage should look like this…

This way the entire community can help determine, with our cash, which content gets showcased on the homepage.

If we want more artists to join our community, then we can spend our cash to help elevate the best artwork on this site. Visitors will quickly and clearly see that art is very important to our community.

If we want more writers to join our community, then we can spend our cash to help elevate the best writing on this site. Visitors will quickly and clearly see that writing is very important to our community.

If we want more musicians to join our community, then we can spend our cash to help elevate the best music on this site. Visitors will quickly and clearly see that music is very important to our community.

If we want more programmers to join our community, then we can spend our cash to help elevate the best coding on this site. Visitors will quickly and clearly see that programming is very important to our community.

If we want more Bitcoin Cash enthusiasts to join our community, then we can spend our cash to help elevate the best BCH content on this site. Visitors will quickly and clearly see that BCH is very important to our community.

What makes our community important is that we use crowdfunding to prioritize our content. If this concept is correct, it means that the cream will quickly rise to the top, which is where it will receive the most attention. Visitors will quickly learn how we define "cream". If they disagree with our definition, then they are more than welcome to join us and use their cash to improve our definition of "cream".

The more people who participate in this prioritization process, the better our definition of "cream".

Naturally I believe that this concept is incredibly creamy. Problem is, I don't have the freedom to use my cash to convey this. We really need the freedom to spend our cash on our own content. Of course the cash wouldn't go into our own wallets, instead it would go into Honest Cash's wallet. Some portion of this money should be used to advertise our community. More people would join us, they'd use their cash to improve our definition of "cream"…. and it would be the most virtuous circle ever.

It's a novel and brilliant way to welcome and encourage the creation of original work.
