yours.org turned into Scam ? where is the $1.5 million supposed to be invested on the platform They try to diverse from other platforms, like Steemit. By ch arching a small fee (10 cents) post an article. In this way they can prevent the surplus of spam articles. Because when writing their blog posts, people need to keep in mind that publishing isn't free. Published blog posts can be both free to read, or charged. The Author decides how much is charged for an article. Beside's people 'buying' articles. Their is also a possibility to earn by tips. These tips are a similar concept to Steemit. If people want to cash out, they can get paid with Bitcoin Cash. I find this website a very interesting idea. The fact that you need to pay a small fee to posts can help prevent spam. But I'm worried about the legitimacy of the project. Their isn't very much activity yet. So we will just have to see. Now as I can see yours.org stopped working, no one can post or at least see your own profile, I don't know what is happening, we don't have any news on social media about the platform. It's a simple change to make it work with SV, so why isn't it done already? On the beginning of this year, Ryan ( owner of yours.org) posted that they received more than 1.5 million$ to put on the platform, but where is this money, the platform was the same for almost a year and still the same thing, But now isn't working. https://www.yours.org/content/yoursorg-raises--15-m-to-make-bitcoin-mainstream-315e336c1898 Bitmain and nChain and negotiated the raise of $1.5 M, to yours. org. Where is that money? "Yours.org has the potential to bring Bitcoin to everyone in the world," said Ryan X. Charles, CEO of Yours.org. "Because we have focused on making Bitcoin so easy to use, even the most casual users are able to send and receive Bitcoin. Anyone, anywhere can start earning money for the things they love to do. The potential to change the way social media works and to improve the quality of content on the internet is enormous." Another bad light on Ryan unfortunately. I used to like the guy and I still respect him quite a bit because of his apology for when he ticked out and censored people on yours.org. https://archive.fo/R0vF2
The British pound is the oldest fiat currency in existence at 317 years. The pound was originally defined as 12 oz. of silver. It's now worth less than 0.5% of its original value. In other words, the most successful long standing currency in existence has lost 99.5% of its value. Got bitcoin?...
I was lucky enough to join the Electroneum iOS Beta and so I thought I would write a mini-review of the app, and its cloud-mining function. Electroneum Electroneum is a mobile-based payment solution. It aims to revolutionise crypto with a low-fee payment especially for those in the developing world. Broadly speaking, cryptocurrency has the ability to improve developing economies by giving peop...
Seven years after the introduction of Satoshi Nakamoto's Bitcoin creation to the world. The Ethereum network has grown phenomenally through the years since its inception in 2015. The Ethereum cryptocurrency has been battling ripple these days for the second position in terms of market capitalization. It is considered to be the second most valuable cryptocurrency on the market second to Bitcoin.  ...
Hey guys! Bitcoin Faucets are a great way to obtain cryptocurrency if you don’t have the funds to invest in Bitcoin, but still want to invest in this growing asset class. Who knows what Bitcoin will be worth in 7 years. You don’t have to be wealthy to invest in crypto. You can mine Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies through what are referred to as “Bitcoin Faucets”. To make a “claim” on one of...
As I outlined in my first blog post, I feel that cryptocurrencies will be one of the 3 factors that will drive change in our culture. Money is used by humans to communicate scarcity. It is an artificial construct and is only real because we humans think it is real. Money evolved out of a barter ledger that was locally managed by a trusted 3rd party (a common misconception is it was direct barter)....
It's been said that the value of a network is related to the square of the number of members. In English: a phone is worthless if no one else has one, and increasingly more valuable as more phones are connected (a.k.a Metcalfe's Law). Let's see how accurate this rule is in the context of Bitcoin. With the recent split of Bitcoin Cash (BCH), anyone who already owned BCH found themselves owning bo...
It's at 0 though, but it's good to know. Does that mean that if I'm… "disconnected"? from the wallet that when someone upvotes a post of mine, it'll go into some sort of void? If so, then that's far worse than the continual logging-out issue that also annoying as heck, but easily rectifiable. Because I probably won't ever accumulate any Bitcoin Cash here because the wallet keeps disconnecting....
With the winter here, now would be a good time to start preparing for an exciting and profitable future. Never before in history has it been so easy to get free and/or low cost training, certifications, diplomas and degrees. 2015-now the world has never seen so much opportunity, both in terms of free and low cost education, access to technologies and open positions in the technology related fields...
I quit banks almost on a whim back in 2012 when I was working as a telemarketer, partially emboldened by Bitcoin. I’d heard about it 2011 first but John was noticing gains from it and it was gaining in popularity enough to where I could consider replacing banks with bitcoin, and I did. Then one day when I went to cash my measly weakly paycheck I got denied the ability to do so despite having bee...
