I've heard of the low-carb ketogenic all-meat "carnivore diet", and again saw that apparently some cryptocurrency enthusiasts are interested in it. The diet is simple: just eat meat, with some adding seafood, eggs, butter, and other low or no carb dairy products. That simplicity seems appealing to me. We don't really know the long-term effects of this diet, although there are cases of people who have survived years on the diet with no apparent ill effects. JustMeat.co has a bunch of research and article links on the topic. I've seen some sites suggest that cycling carbohydrates by having one "cheat" day a week, might be healthiest. I'd like to try this out, maybe like a ketogenic diet that leans more towards being carnivore, or a less strict carnivore diet that adds in more keto foods, as well as a day for seafood. Proponents of the diet have argued they have more energy and have lost weight in some cases, as well as having cleared up various diseases. I think this diet might be useful for some people and I look forward to seeing more research and experimentation done by people to see how good of a thing this might be.
