It's late Sunday evening, and one Bitcoin Cash is currently selling for roughly $315. Whether it goes up or down from here in the near term is anybody's guess, but I say up.
Tonight I thought I'd share something I did for the first time in my life. I went and did a "float".
My wife saw it on instagram, of course, and said, Hey, you should try this, so I did. (I'm like the family guinea pig, garbage disposal, and slave, all rolled into one.)
I scheduled my first float for 9 pm this evening. I admit I was actually pretty excited about it. Earlier in the week I did a little research and it sounded like exactly what I needed. When I arrived, I watched a short video explanation, and then they showed me to my private float room. Sorry for the crappy pictures but the shower glass prevented me from getting a good angle. Anyway, the room is equipped with my own shower, and then behind this creepy looking door is the actual float tank. The tank is filled with eleven inches of saltwater that allows you to float effortlessly, and I mean it, I couldn't believe how easy it was to float in it.
I climbed inside, closed the door, then pushed the button to start my float. Soon the lights go out so it's completely dark. For the first five minutes they play some soothing music, but then that goes away and it's completely silent other than sound of your heartbeat and breathing. Since my ears were submerged, my heartbeat was loudest. It takes a little getting used to at first, the feeling of being weightless, but then you start to relax and everything just kind of fades into the background. I don't want to sound overly dramatic. I'm not going to sit here and write that I experienced spiritual transcendence, but it was definitely something new, something I've never experienced before. The float was for an hour, but it didn't feel like an hour. I was worried going into it that I'd get antsy after twenty minutes, but the time wasn't an issue. If anything, I was disappointed when the lights came on and the session was over. I don't think I fell asleep, but at the same time, I'm not 100% sure because I kind of lost track of everything at some point. One thing I do know is that I want to go again.
