Let new people see the free articles here without an account?

I think we should. I tried to show someone an article here and the hoops to jump through ended up being too many for them to see it. Maybe a close-able annoying pop-up like Medium has when a visitor has not signed in/up yet.

I'm not sure what you mean. On my phone I'm not signed in to Honest Cash but I can still see the free articles. Unfortunately I wasn't able to navigate to the articles from the site's homepage. I've suggested that the homepage should feature the best articles.

It seems you can see articles if you know the url of the article. We tried to get to content from the homepage address and I was told he could not get to content or search for it without making an account that turned out to be time consuming. I'd rather not have a site admin or algorithm determine what content is available ("best articles") without an account, but, maybe that would be a good step in the right direction.

On The Atlantic homepage you can see articles. You don't have to become a member. I don't exactly know how the articles are selected for the homepage. Usually I don't look at the homepage, I just look at the articles sorted by date. What I can't look at are the articles sorted by value. This is simply because The Atlantic doesn't know the value of its articles.

It's a different story here on Honest Cash. Since we can spend money on articles, their value is known, so it is possible to see the most valuable articles. Why aren't these articles featured on Honest Cash's homepage? Shouldn't it be as easy as possible for visitors to find and see them?

Part of the motivation for spending money on articles should be to direct more attention to them.

It's partially a security measure. Look at Steemit and Yours.org now countless spam messages. Also not possible to dissuade after an open policy is established. (**last I checked the New Posts link, there are some elements of spam postings appearing.)

Require an account to post? If that's not drastic enough, a 50 cent (bond?) worth of BCH to post and ban accounts that spam and take their "bond"? Maybe a 5 posts per day limit or…
